Bifocal provisional merit list to be out today

According to deputy district vocational education and training officer D C Nevse,provisional merit-list for bifocal courses will be displayed at 1 pm on Wednesday at Fergusson College,Abasaheb Garware College,S P College and Mhalsakant College,Akurdi.

“Students can post their grievances on the provisional list on July 9 from 10 am to 4 pm at S P College. The final merit list will be displayed at Fergusson and S P College on July 10 at 1 pm,” he said.

The admission rounds will start at 9 am on July 11. Students belonging to three categories –physically-challenged,children of ex-servicemen and students who had technical subjects in their class 10 have been asked to come between 9 am and 11 am only on July 11 for admissions.

There are 3,725 seats available for bifocal courses in the city colleges for which 4,068 applications have been received. The admission process will be done as per the table admission procedure.

Meanwhile,deputy education director of Pune division Sunil Magar said that the admission schedule for the science,arts and commerce streams would be declared later. “Presently,the department is busy doing the data entry. As it completes,we will display the schedule,” he said.
