A 23-year-old biker was crushed to death on the National Highway 2 in front of Crowne Plaza Mall in Faridabad on Tuesday evening.
The victim, Kamal Khatri, was a resident of New Town-I here. He worked as an insurance agent in Sector-16. Khatri was returning home on his motorcycle when he was hit by a trailer from behind and got crushed under the wheels of the trailer around 4.30 pm.
Khatri’s family members went on a rampage and damaged another truck.
The accident, meanwhile, lead to a massive traffic jam on the highway.
The Faridabad Police have arrested the driver and impounded the trailer. The body was handed over to the family after a postmortem and a case has been registered.
