With the support of Nihilent Technologies, Tumbhi.com — a platform for aspiring artists — recently launched Kidzbirds in Urban India, a book that captures information and facts on birds in India. Prakash Gole, founding-editor of the Journal of Ecological Society and a conservationist, launched the book at Patrakar Bhavan in Pune on Wednesday. Sunjoy Monga, Mumbai-based naturalist, writer and photographer, says, "Our whole world revolves around birds. The idea behind the book was to educate people about nature and the environment."
Robin Rastogi, Head of Operations, Tumbhi.com, says that the book is segregated into two sections. The first has information on the birds of various habitats. The second section comprises peel-off stickers about birds mentioned in the previous section. The online version of the book will also be available in three months.
