BJP gears up as Lok Sabha polls approach,holds Chintan Shibir

State BJP chief Parshottam Rupala presided over the Chintan Shibir held at Sinh-Sadan (forest guest house). Nine vice presidents,seven secretaries,four general secretaries,treasurer and office bearers of the party’s seven units were present at the camp.

Karsan Dhadook,Junagadh city BJP unit president,said: “State-level office bearers of the party’s seven different units — Farmer unit,Youth unit,Woman wing,Schedule Caste and Scheduled Tribe unit,Backward Class unit and Minority unit,took part in the Chintan Shibir and shared their ideas regarding the Lok Sabha polls.”

Although no official statement has been issued by the party regarding the camp, leaders maintained the party is preparing in advance for the Lok Sabha elections.

Pradeep Khimani,BJP councillor in Junagadh Municipal Corporation and senior leader,said: “In the youth workshop,a training session was organised for young party workers,where guidelines were issued on how to make public contact,organise public and group meetings,and strengthen the organisation. Besides,they were taught about party ideology.”
