BJP MLA’s son stalls demolition drive in city

    The Building branch of the Municipal Corporation had to abort its demolition drive near the Old Sabzi Mandi on Thursday after Honey Bedi, son of BJP MLA Harish Bedi, arrived at the scene and stalled the operations to raze a building.

    He argued with the MC staff including Assistant Town Planner (ATP) Kamaljeet Kaur and made frantic phone calls to a few VIPs.

    Information revealed that owner of the building had renovated his building and it was coming within the 5-km radius of the national highway.

In India politicians and their sons are above the law of the land. Indian babus are scared of them lest they get them transferred. Ninety percent of the problems in India are caused by political thugs and their criminal sons and also religious leaders. M.L.A. means Maha Lucha Aadmi.
