BJP plans exhibitions to expose ‘scams’

Continuing its attack on the Bahujan Samaj Party,the Bharatiya Janata Party will organise an exhibition on “Maya ke Ghotale” in Kanpur on April 23.

Continuing its attack on the Bahujan Samaj Party,the Bharatiya Janata Party will organise an exhibition on “Maya ke Ghotale” in Kanpur on April 23.

The exhibition will feature documentary evidence that was published in the recently released 400-page book Mayawati Sarkar ke 100 Ghotale – Scams in Uttar Pradesh.

The party also plans to release details of alleged sugar mill scams in Gorakhpur on April 30.

BJP national secretary Kirit Somaiya was in the state capital on Thursday to discuss the details of the campaigns with the party workers.

Somaiya will be going to districts like Muzaffarnagar,Jyotiba Phule Nagar,Amroha,Saharanpur,Bijnor and Saharanpur to assess the various sugar mills in the region. The party has collected details of alleged corruption in the sale of sugar mills by the state government. Some of these irregularities have already been mentioned in the book,and the party will release the evidence in Gorakhpur.

Party spokesperson Vijay Bahadur Pathak said,“We have all the evidence. Even if the BSP denies it and calls it a drama,we will go public with the evidence and let the people decide. We will release details of each scam in different cities across the state.”

He added,“We will release details of all the scams to the public through various programmes in Uttar Pradesh. On June 12,we will give a report to the President.”
