Dr IT Group organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with the Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGI. This is the fourth blood donation camp by the group and 70 units of blood was collected. Director of the college Prof P P Arya said that providing blood to those in distress is a service to society.
Civic body organises sanitation campaign
Chandigarh: A sanitation campaign was organized by the Sanitation and Pest Control Wing of the Municipal Corporation on Thursday in villages Badheri and Buterla. Area councillor Malkit Singh flagged off the campaign. A rally was carried out by the sanitation workers with placards for the general awareness of the public. It was stressed that residents and the MC can collectively make the area sanitized.
