The Punjab School Education Board is gearing up to hold annual examinations for Class VIII,X and XII from March 2.

The Punjab School Education Board is gearing up to hold annual examinations for Class VIII,X and XII from March 2.

Dalbir Singh Dhillon,chairman,PSEB,Mohali,said,“To curb the menace of mass copying in annual exams,we are going to depute flying observers,apart from flying squads,who are mainly college professors and school principals. It has been observed that mass copying is usually more prevalent in border districts. We will continue our campaign against the practice of cheating.”

There are 369 examination centres in Ludhiana district.

Vachittar Singh,District Education Officer (Secondary) Ludhiana,said: “The examination material will be distributed to all centers on February 25.

We have sent the list of examination duties to the Board and waiting for an approval.”
