Bollywood applauds legalisation of homosexuality

    Jubilant Celina Jaitley talks to media after the Delhi High Court passed a ruling decriminalising homosexuality.

    Actor Sanjay Suri, who won rave reviews for his performance as India's first AIDS patient said, "Criminalising gay sex among consenting adults is a violation of fundamental rights. The judgement is a progressive one, but the law should have been done away a long time back."

    Shame on UPABy: Samsuddin | 04-Jul-2009 Reply | Forward this is a milestone decision from cultural perspective having long term implications . legalising Gay will increase male prostitution and propogation of Sexually transimtted illnesss including AIDS .COuld these supporters handle this ? People like celina cannot dictate this . we must have some kind of voting mechanism involving common man to decide on this . I dont understand the logic of banning dance bars and legalising Homosexuality . going by this we must legalise prostitution, animal sex etc . OThis is the death blow to our culture which is alredy hit by the bad western infulence by media and net exposure The goverment want to appease the uppermiddleclass who are tradationally BJP vote banks. This is a dangerous game for votes .My question to the home minsiter is that will he be happy when his son get home his male "partner" and start living with him ? .Shame on the Govermrnt . Homosexuality is a mental disordar need treatment ,.Its not a right of any.
