  • Raj thackeray arrest
Union Cabinet made strong demands for MNS chief Raj Thackeray's arrest under National Security Act.

Bhardwaj is understood to have pointed out that since allegations had been levelled against police in the case of killing of a youth from Bihar, a judicial or a magisterial inquiry would be appropriate.

Sibal and Reddy voiced concern over the violence against north Indians in Maharashtra, saying the developments did not send the right signals.

Patil told the meeting that his ministry had issued three advisories to Maharashtra government over the violence against North Indians and 56 cases were registered against Thackeray in connection with these incidents, the sources said.

When Patil said that his ministry had issued three advisories to Maharashtra, Paswan said if the state government still did not act to stop violence, the Centre should think about other options.

Pressing for Thackeray's arrest under NSA, Paswan said the MNS chief was getting out on bail in whatever cases had been filed against him.

He cited the case of MDMK chief Vaiko's arrest for his alleged statements in favour of LTTE and said why similar action should not be taken against Thackeray, the sources said.

I do Support MNS.By: Ranjeet Pawar | 06-Nov-2008 Reply | Forward Media is trying to play the role of judges. now its a time to control all the electronic media peoples from showing baised news. Under the name of 'Breaking news' they are putting oil in the fire. Media peoples are telecasting news against Raj Thackarey but they are not saying a single word against Lalu and other Bihari politician, i failed to understand why? why they are showing only one side of the coin? why they are targeting Raj Thackarey only? this Bihari politician are in variouse scams of corers of rupees. why they are not taking any steps for devolapment of their state?Electronic Media had not shown the news of attack on Maharashtra Sadan in Delhi, Why? No any news of Attack on I.A.S. Marathi Officer MRS.Thackarey, Why? if u r reporters than u should put the truth before the public. This is very shamefull act by Electronic Media, state must control all this type of nonsence. What ever Raj Thackarey is doing for the rights of son soils is correct and we are supporting Raj.
MNSBy: Shankar Shetty | 01-Nov-2008 Reply | Forward It is not a question of North Indians or Sourth Indians. Message should be clearly sent that no thug can challenge Indian Constitution
accountabilityBy: VG | 01-Nov-2008 Reply | Forward Because of some filthy politicians India is going backwards. Make the judiciary very strong so that any act deterrent to the nation and its people is severely dealth with .Only then will this madness stop.
Hand Lalu maya firstBy: Raja Hindustani | 01-Nov-2008 Reply | Forward Due to political apathy and criminal mind set of the North Indian especially from UP and Bihar is diving nation into the part. It is also tarnishing the overall image of India. The migration is happening from the beginning. US is a gr8 power due to Immigrant. But most of the people who are migrating from UP/Bihar are turning Mumbai / Surat / Bangalore / Goa in to the prostitution hub and place to do horrible crime like robbery and killing. It is well know fact now most of murder which takes place in the metro or any city, you will find people involve are from UP/Bihar. Up bayya and Bihari should introspect and get ride of joker like, lalu, maya, mulayam, shard yadav etc then Raj can fallow. “Dusaro pe kichad fekanese pahale apane gireban main jhakana sikho”. At least there is one man who is willing to take on UP-Bihari Gundas. Bravo raj… we need at least one like you in our state to save India and Indians from Lalu and Maya and criminal mind set people.
Precise and true----By: romesh.sharma | 01-Nov-2008 Reply | Forward Very well said by Raja and to add I would say all those who are against Raj Thakerey are either ignorants or talking in the trend of sheep herd. The way and policies of present Govt have forced some people to turn aggressive and to some they have ileegitimately supported that they are exploiting the foolishly exploiting the vote-bank appeasing politics. Its the Centre which is dividing the people and have jeopardised nation's security. There will be more Rajs coming up to send the message of injustice being done to the majority Hindus to whom the Nation belongs to.The Nation has fallen in the hands of treacherous politicians. Its only people like Raj and Modi who can force these traitors out of power and save motherland.
MNSBy: yohan | 01-Nov-2008 Reply | Forward It's really a pathetic situation for the central and state governments. why thackeray is being released immediately is not understood. it seems the state govt, a mammoth body with administrative and a very large police force, is so scared of this 'one' individual. centre is also afraid of taking any action. dr. singh's question what else he could do really shows visibly frustrated PM, who cant think of any further action than shooting out some letters. why cant he call thackerays to his office and admonish him, preach about national integrity, which the thackerays lacking. The PM is just washing his hands off, after passing the onus to the state govt. He has many other options in front of him, which he does not want to think or act fearing reprisals. He would like to act as POSH PM, sitting in AC Office and just write some letters. As a nominated member in Parliament, he is not having experience of meeting people directly, which he should do at least as a PM.
