Indore: 8 injured after youths go on stabbing spree

BHOPAL: Two motorcycle-borne youths went on a stabbing spree injuring eight persons here late Tuesday evening. The two,Ehsan alias Bhaiyyu and Arif Ujjaini have criminal backgrounds and were under the influence of an anti-depressant drug during the incident,the police said. The two also damaged a couple of shops. Those attacked in the spree were discharged from the hospital as they did not sustain major injuries.

Woman ends life with 3 children

PATNA: A woman along with three children committed suicide on Wednesday by jumping before a goods train at Bhabhua railway station in Kaimur district. Their mutilated bodies,found lying on the track,were sent for post-mortem. Efforts are on to identify them.

NEW DELHI: The central government has set up a national task force to work out ways to accord equivalence and recognition to educational qualifications between India and the UK. While the UK offers a one-year Masters programme following a 4+1 format for higher studies,India follows the 3+2 format with a two-year Masters programme. 5 minors rescued from brothel

BUNDI: Five minor girls,allegedly forced into sex work by their parents,were rescued after a brothel was raided in Ramnagar. Produced before a court on Wednesday,they were sent to a juvenile home. There were reports that the minors were kept in custody at Sadar police station on Tuesday night,which Additional Superintendent of Police N L Pavan admitted was illegal.
