  • If we could throw out the British surely we can throw out the corrupt politicians and officials whose neglect and inefficiency, greed and corruption and sheer disdain for the law, threaten our loved ones, our life, our values, our property and our dignity.

If we come together we can still be “The City on the Hill”- a beacon for other cities in India.

Bombay the belovedBy: richard | 03-Jan-2009 Reply | Forward The minute we started electing our city representatives in the name of linguistic majority, Bombay started to die. Being the only city in India which needs too many inputs for its survival from India and abroad, this city can survive only when one compete with other to earn his livelihood and in that process start contributing to its growth. What is happening today is owning of this city in the name of language by few individuals. They want to show their power over others by creating an army expert stone throwers and intimidators. The government become helpless when their army comes out to stop work and movement in this city. We can get rid of terrorists but the biggest terrorist are living among us wearing masks of religion, language and regional superiority. How can we get rid of them, when the governing authority itself supports them?
