A Cheltenham restaurant has put the world's most expensive bacon sandwich on the menu, setting diners back 150 pounds.
The owner of the restaurant, Paul Philips, said that he created the posh nosh in a bid to raise money for charity – and hopefully land a place in the Guinness World Records, the Daily Star reported.
The Bacon Bling, which is served with sliced truffles, seven rashers of rare breed pig, saffron and edible gold dust, is being sold at Tangberry's coffee house in Cheltenham, Glos.
Philips, 41, said that it is expensive to make, but he will continue doing them forever even if it means raising money for charity.
All proceeds will go to SKRUM, a rugby charity based in Swaziland, and the Regular Forces Employment Association, which helps war veterans.
