Wearing a unflattering lumberjack shirt and her newly-brunette hair tied back into a messy knot,the image is in stark contrast to the photograph of Britney’s new Candies campaign.

Taken at the end of last year after her 97-date world tour,the shot appears to show her in the peak of health.

There was no hint of the puffy face she sports in real life,suggesting the picture may have had a little digital enhancement.

The pop singer,28,has been enjoying a remarkable comeback recently after a disastrous few years.

In 2008,Miss Spears was photographed sobbing in the street after drink-and drug-fuelled nights out,and she famously shaved off her hair on a whim.
