Defends kabaddi opening ceremony
While defending the celebrations during the inaugural ceremony of the World Cup Kabaddi during the mourning period for former Prime Minister I K Gujra, Sukhbir said the mega event was started after all mourning protocol had been followed. It was an international event and all of sudden changes could not be made in it, he said before adding that complete respect was paid to the former PM before the start of the event.
