One must not starve or punish themselves by having bland food or little food for the sake of health. Healthy food need not necessarily be bad to taste and one good example is homemade food. Homemade food is always fresh and therefore good for one’s health,and I am sure everyone will agree with me,when I say that home made food is the best,” says that actor.

Among the very few restaurants in the city,where Shah indulges at times,The Great Punjab is her favorite given their rich menu and tasty food. “When in a restaurant,I go by taste,because it is equally important for me,however,not at the cost of health. And for home made food I can bank on my sister and mother-in-law,both of who are great cooks.” About her own culinary skills,Shah says that she is happy with a cup of coffee that she makes.

For her summer diet,Shah will be emphasising vegetable and juices and avoid oil. “In summer,as it is the skin is oily and further consumption of oil will only make it worse. As I cut down on oily stuff,I want to compensate with some cool juices and vegetables.”

Even though Shah doesn’t have a sweet tooth,she is a huge cake fan,which according to her is an all-season food. “Cakes,in a way,are my weakness. I love cakes and can have it anytime of the day. From home made cakes to exotic pastries,I am game for all of them at any time of the day,” she concludes.
