Alleging that she was a subject of discrimination and bias,Mamata said “when I come to Rail Bhawan you ask this question (about spending more time in Bengal). But why don’t you ask the same question to other ministers who come here.”

Banerjee said she is upset for not being able to spend more time among his people due to the ministerial work.

“I am sad that I cannot give more time to my party and and meet the people who voted for us. I am here because of my people and I cannot betray them”,she said.

Highlighting her priority as Railway Minister, she said the focus is on restoring punctuality in train services and “justice” to passengers.
