Buddha Bar, the international lounge chain that's said to be a favourite of Madonna and Johnny Depp, will be arriving in India this week. The outlet, in Saket's Select City Walk mall, will be called B-Bar (so as not to upset religious sentiments). It will seat 330 people and one can expect the trademarks of Buddha Bar outlets in Monaco, Kiev,
Budapest, Beirut, Manila and Las Vegas — baroque interiors, Asian-inspired cuisine and huge spaces. And, of course, the latest music, since Buddha Bar is credited with introducing live DJ music to diners at restaurants.
