A Honda City car was damaged on Monday after stones from the Metro construction site in Sector-32 fell on it. The woman who was driving the car is safe as the stones fell on the rear of the car.
The woman, however, refused to talk to the media.
Confirming the incident, Sandhya Sharma, public relation officer of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, said there was some construction material that fell on the car from above and there was no serious damage.
“We are paying for the damages to the car owner and the damage was not huge. The woman (who was driving the car) is safe,” Sharma said.
