Case of the disappearing mangoes

With mangoes being the flavour of the season,its interesting to note that one of the episodes of Lapataganj has been devoted to this king of fruits. In the episode,Mukundilal is shown to be cautiously watching over the box full of juicy Alphonso mangoes that he has to deliver to his boss. Unaware of the situation,his wife Indumati distributes the mangoes to the residents of Lapataganj putting Mukundi in a fix. However,what happened during the shoot turned out to be more interesting. Since fresh and juicy mangoes were used for the shoot,as soon as Sucheta Khannaaka (Indumati) got hold of it,she could not resist eating it. Soon,other artistes such as Surili (Preeti Ameen),Bijji (Abbas Khan) and even Mukundilal (Rohitashv Gour) started digging into them. Consequently,this episode took the longest to complete thanks to the disappearing mangoes. and two more boxes of Alphonso mangoes had to be ordered.

Marvel-ous action
Superhero aficianados will get a dose of their favourite characters on UTV Action,which has announced an asssociation with comic book giant Marvel Comics in India. The comic giant has the rights to a popular line up of superheroes including Spiderman,Ironman,Wolverine,The Hulk etc. According to the deal,the action-based channel will be showcasing the superheroes of the comics in their property Movie of the Month and the comics will highlight the same. For example,the channel is promoting Ghost Rider,which will be aired on May 30. According to Sameer Ganapathy,Channel Head,UTV Action,The association is another step in ensuring that UTV Action is present wherever there is a reference to Action. It is expected to enhance brand awareness among consumers of action comics.
