Automobile lubricant maker Castrol India today announced launching its ICC World Cup advertising campaign featuring master blaster Sachin Tendulkar to catch on the cricket fever. We have a strategic marketing plan around our partnership with the ICC World Cup 2011 and this has been rolled out across India, Castrol India Vice President Marketing Giriraj Bagri said in a statement. The company said the brand new television commercial featuring Tendulkar will also announce Castrol World Cup ka Hero contest as part of its consumer activation programme. Through this promotion,we endeavor to give the winners a lifetime experience that money cant buy,of watching a World Cup match from a vantage position and being treated like a real Hero, Bagri said. The communication involves a range of consumer engagement programs across various channels like outdoor media,digital platforms and mass media advertising,the company said.
