The Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) effort to get details of Noidas history-sheeters in a bid to crack the Arushi-Hemraj murder case may reach a dead end. The Noida Police has no centralised data of history-sheeters. The CBI has asked the Noida Police for information on history-sheeters,their photographs, and particularly their fingerprints. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Noida,Naveen Arora, said,We dont have any centralised data. We may not be able to provide information unless they ask for something specific. Sources say there must be around 200 history-sheeters in Noida. The CBI has not mentioned the period for which they want details of history-sheeters. The letter, sent to all police stations in Noida earlier this week, does not mention why the investigation agency needs the details. A CBI source said it was for the Arushi-Hemraj murder probe. Sources claimed that the CBI wants to know whether the fingerprints lifted from the crime scene matches those of any criminals of Noida. CBI spokesperson Harsh Bhal refused to comment. Accused Rajkumar's lawyer,Naresh Yadav, said,I think the CBI is on the right track. I am happy that they are now probing the case to know about the actual killers.
