The class XII students of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) heaved a sigh of relief as the first exam of English proved to be an easy ride. The CBSE board exams for class X and XII commenced on Friday.
There was excitement in the air as students came out of the examination hall with gleaming faces. The majority of them found the paper very easy.
It was good. We were expecting it to be a little tough,but it was not, said Jyotsna Sharma,student of Sacred Heart Convent School,Sector 26.
Expressing similar sentiments,Subhash Das,a class XII student of Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 33 said that it was quite a simple paper,and not at all tricky.
According to the date-sheet issued by the CBSE,the next exam for class XII will be Physics scheduled for March 5 and the last exam is on April 17. Tanvi Jolly,another student,said that the English exam has always come out as a lengthy paper,but this time it was contrary to the students expectations.
The class X students had their first exam of painting on Friday.
