Naomi Campbell to walk for Vikram Chatwal’s fashion show in aid of 26/11

The scar of the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai are still sore for its denizens, and people from all over the world are coming together to pay a tribute to its victims. This time around it is US-based hotelier Vikram Chatwal and international supermodel Naomi Campbell who will present a benefit show ‘A Fashion for Relief’ in association with Lakme and IMG. While Campbell will walk the ramp, Chatwal will sponsor the fashion show which will be held on March 28, during the Lakme Fashion Week.

Christened ‘Mai Mumbai’ the show will bring together a mix of international and Indian fashion designers. “But the designers are yet to be finalised,” says Ravi Krishnan, who will soon be the managing director, IMG, India, “Through ‘Mai Mumbai’ and Lakme Fashion Week we would like to express global solidarity against terror. After all fashion is a universal language and in spite of the wrath we have faced Mumbai is still open for business.”
