Indias Moon mission spacecraft Chandrayaan,which developed a technical snag following failure of one of its star sensors,is doing fine and a review meeting would be held in September,ISRO Chairman Madhavan Nair said on Wednesday. Chandrayaan is doing fine, Nair said on the sidelines of a function organised to launch the Integrated GIS and Image Processing Software developed by Scanpoint Geomatics in partnership with ISRO. He said a review meeting of Chandrayaan,designed for two years in space but developed a technical snag when one of its star sensors failed impacting its orientation in space,would be held in September. On the benefits of India signing the Technology Safeguards Agreement with the US this month,he said,Space cooperation with the US has been on the agenda of the government. The agreement would help US-enabled satellites to be launched from India or foreign satellites carrying US components to be launched from the country. We will have more opportunities for satellites to be brought to India and launch them, he said,adding that while previously we had to get clearance from the US government case by case,it would now enable to directly deal with the user.
