Pending for ever
Execution of numerous projects passed in the previous years is pending. Councillor Jatinder Bhatia says there should be better communication between the officials and the councillors. “There is a gap between the officials and the councillors which needs to be removed. This was not the case earlier,” he says.

UT Administrator has ordered setting up of an inquiry committee to investigate the procedure followed in sanctioning foreign tours of councillors and officials.
The committee will also look into the purchase of equipment for various projects; whether rules and regulations are followed; and if not, will devise the corrective measures required.
