Comeback vamp
Television's favorite vamp, Kamya Punjabi is back on Zee TV’s Dulhann as Sindoora. But the twist in the tale is that Sindoora has lost her sanity this time post her confrontation with Amar and Divya and will be seen decaying in the prison when the character resurfaces. The look she has been given is wild and untamed, very unlike what Kamya is in real life. Kamya is super excited and looks really promising in her new avatar. The channel and the production house took months to freeze on this look as it was very important for Sindoora’s character to look convincing. Now if only these telly actors would put as much work in the acting department as they do in the looks department.

Singing duets
Sonu Niigam had promised to sing with his favorite singer Kailash Kher when he had last appeared on Indian Idol. And he kept his words as he and Kailash took the floor with élan. The two gave a mind-blowing performance with Ya Rabba. But amidst all the fun and laughter, Sonu displayed his seriousness towards to his craft. He demonstrated his observation about all the singing greats down the ages from Mohammad Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Talat Mehmood, Hemant Kumar, Manna Dey to Mahendra Kapoor. There are few as talented as Sonu in the industry today and even fewer when it comes to sharing their knowledge with newcomers. But we guess that is what makes Sonu a cut above the rest.
