Ludhiana:Local MP and Congress spokesperson Manish Tewari on Friday asked the district administration and the health authorities to be more sensitive and responsive towards the gastro patients.

Ludhiana:Shoe manufacturers, wholesalers as well as retailers, on Friday observed a strike against the recently increased VAT on footwear by the state government. The effect of the strike was partial as a number of stores kept their shutters half down and entertained customers quietly.
