US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is yet to fully recover from the surgery of her right elbow

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton plans to visit India in the second half of this month, the State Department said on Thursday.

However, no dates have been announced yet, given that Clinton is yet to fully recover from the surgery of her right elbow, which she had fractured about two weeks ago at the Foggy Bottom headquarters of State Department.

"I think you are aware the Secretary does plan to visit India sometime in the second half of July. I do not have any details right now to release on it," State Department spokesman Ian Kelly said in response to a question at his daily press briefing.

Hillary Clinton VisitBy: Rajesh Vyas | 02-Jul-2009 Reply | Forward Let us not get carried away with this visit of Hillary Clinton. Nothing great should be expected from this visit. Let us hope she does not do a CONDOLEZA RICE on us when she crosses over to Islamabad after visiting New Delhi and making bold Pro-India statements. The sixty odd year LOVE AFFAIR of Pakistan and America is too strong for India to break!!!! Let us not even try it!!!!
