“The very mention of Gujarat makes them feverish and so they went for Anna’s jugular the moment he spoke good of Modi and Gujarat,” the Chief Minister said.

He added that Anna did not call anyone corrupt by name when he remarked about politicians being corrupt, but the Congress presumed it was the target.

Modi said Gujarat was the only state in the country developing industry and agriculture simultaneously, adding that the progress will be further bolstered with the development of Dholera as the world’s largest city in the future.

He said the year-long celebration of the state’s golden jubilee could be a case study for any university.
