Punjab and Chandigarh College Teachers Union (PCCTU) on Monday condemned the indifferent attitude of the college managements regarding their long-pending demands, which include implementation of new pay scales, for which the government has already issued a notification.

The teachers will wear black badges on November 6 and 7 and will sit in dharnas in vacant periods on November 9 and 10. They will also observe two-hour strike and will hold campus rallies from November 11-14.

Artificial limbs distribution camp held
Free artificial limbs distribution camp was held on Monday at Viklang Sahayata Kender, Rishi Nagar, in which aritificial limbs, calipers tricycles, wheel chair and hearing aids were given to 35 physically handicapped persons. R.P Gupta, honorary secretary, Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust, informed that free polio surgery camp was held every second Sunday of the month.
