Comic timing

The story travels from London to Manali. While one half of the film was shot in London,the other half was set in Manali. “I have lived in London for several years so I know it like the back of my hand. I knew exactly where I would shoot,like the Isle Of Dogs and Kanry Warf sea ports which are strikingly beautiful and rarely seen on screen,” said Mundra,sheepishly adding that he lost his way once while shooting at Soho,which is known for its sex shops and night life. He and his team unknowingly landed at a gay bar!

“Except for the delay, the shooting went off very smoothly. Since it is a light film with a lot of funny situations we had a ball. Playing antakshari after shoots with Govinda and Uvika regaling us in their beautiful voices was a favourite pastime. The best part was that Govinda’s slightly plump physique worked well for his role of a 40-plus guy. There was nothing like preparing himself for the part,” laughed the director.

The film also stars Anupam Kher,Shakti Kapoor and Harish.
