The leadership could take a call on the issue after getting reports on how the monsoon will be progressing.

Jharkhand has turned out to be a different cup of tea for Congress where a sizable section of partymen is becoming wary of aligning with any party including Shibu Soren's JMM and Lalu Prasad's RJD in the elections.

The Centre had only recently said there is no cause of worry for now over the delay in progress of monsoon but asked the states to come up with alternative plans to handle the situation in case of deficient rainfall this year.

The delay in monsoon appears worrisome as the weather office had said a couple of days back that the country had received just over 50 per cent of the normal rainfall so far this season.
