    On Nandigram, Bardhan said his party had been critical of the “unilateral way” in which the CPI(M) had dealt with the issue “without consulting and taking other partners into confidence.”

    While opposing the Indo-US nuclear deal, the CPI said the deadlock over India having nuclear cooperation needed to be solved.
