Cong trains gun on Nitish for corruption in Bihar

Flaying the NDA government for making ‘tall claim’ of development and wefare activities during its rule,the Congress today claimed public money was being plundered by the politician-bureaucrat nexus and being invested in real estates across the state capital.

“Our party would like to ask the NDA government the reasons behind the sudden spurt in the real estate price in past few years other than the fact that the politicians and bureaucrats have heavily invested their ill-gotten wealth in land,building and apartments,” newly appointed Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) President Chaudhary Mehboob Ali Kaiser told reporters at his maiden press conference here.

Kaiser alleged that there was massive corruption in the implementation of the central flagship programmes like MNREGA,SSA and others and claimed that there has been no improvement in the quality of life of poor people.

The BPCC President singled out the Chief Minister for his alleged involvement in the excise scam,which he said,was carried out by the Chief Minister’s office with the latter’s consent and demanded a CBI probe in the matter.
