Even as the Left parties continue to support the UPA Government at the Centre, the opposition Congress in poll-bound Tripura would strongly campaign against the Left Front Government, AICC general secretary Prithviraj Chavan said on Sunday.
“There is a notion among some quarters that we will not expose the ruling Left Front Government in Tripura as they are supporting us in Delhi. I want to make it clear that we are united on the basis of common minimum programme and in our fight against communalism, but it does not mean that we will give them walk-over in the state election,” Chavan said.
