Have you identified the areas for trade?

The first and very important one is to work together to connect our rich cultures. We are looking at knowledge share in herbal medicines. Tourism is also important for our country.

What about the agriculture sector?

We are looking at an exchange venture for contract farming in rice.

What kind of tax incentives does your country offer to investors?

Right now, we are working on the final version of the "Investment Law" that will offer the right tools from our government to the international community.

How difficult is it to get visas for your country for travel and trade?

India belongs to Group II, individuals from where can get visa on arrival. But opening our embassy here will reduce the risk and time for Indians going to Bolivia.

What about defence cooperation?

So far, there is nothing in this sector. However, we are keen on exploring cooperation in our war against against drugs and its relation with the mafia.

Any delegations coming up?

Yes, our minister of external affairs David Choquehuanca will be coming to officially open our embassy here in New Delhi in January or February 2013.
