Cop hurt trying to stop offender

A Traffic police constable,Hoshinder Rana,was injured when a motorcycle hit him near Housing Board traffic signal at Manimajra on Sunday. At around 8 pm,Rana asked a motorcyclist to stop as he was not wearing a helmet. The motorcycle rider,Robin,in a bid to get past Rana hit him with his bike,injuring the policeman. Robin,a resident of Nayagaon,was also injured. They were taken to the General Hospital,Sector 16 where they are undergoing treatment. Police have registered a case against Robin for rash driving and voluntarily causing hurt.
