Prices of copper and nickel added Rs 2 per kg in the local non-ferrous metal market today on the back of increased demand from consuming industries amid reports of a firming global trend.
Traders said increased industrial demand and reports of a firming global trend mainly kept copper and nickel remain up.
In the national capital,copper mixed scrap and nickel (4×4) strengthened by Rs 2 each to Rs 401 and Rs 1,031-1,034 per kg,respectively.
The following are metal rates per kg: Zinc ingot 110-114, nickel plate (4×4) 1,031-1,034,gun metal scrap 227,bell metal scrap 229,copper mixed scrap 401,chadri deshi 285. Lead ingot 136,lead imported 134,aluminium ingots 127,sheet cutting 128,aluminium wire scrap 134 and aluminium utensils scrap 127.
