Security forces on Sunday recovered arms and ammunition at a hideout of Naxalites in a forest area in Bihar’s Gaya district, police said. Assisted by the District Armed Police and Special Auxiliary police commandos, Special Task Force personnel raided the hide-out of the banned CPI-Maoist in Barkadaha area and seized the weapons looted from the policemen. One rifle, two landmines, several rounds of ammunition and a 100-metre fuse wire were recovered, police said, adding Naxalites managed to escape from the spot.
