  • A Metropolitan Court on Friday sent two alleged SIMI activists to police remand for 14 days in connection with the Ahmedabad serial blasts case.

The two — Mohammed Yunus and Shafiq Ansari — have been brought from Indore for their alleged involvement in the blasts case. The police had sought transfer warrant from the Madhya Pradesh Police and brought the duo to Ahmedabad on Thursday.

The police said they would try to establish their link, if any, with other blasts that took place in the country.

The two accused were part of the camps organised in Kerala and another one in Halol.
