“The resolution on Palestine condemns the ongoing brutal repression of the Palestinian people by the Israeli military. The CPI also condemns the blockade imposed by Israel, making miserable life of the Arab people in the occupied territories,” said CPI General Secretary AB Bardhan. “The 20th congress of the CPI calls upon the world public opinion to rise against the barbaric atrocities committed by Israeli forces and demand immediate dismantling of the apartheid wall, putting an end to the occupation of all the Palestinian and Arab territories and sincere efforts for a just and lasting settlement of the West Asian problem. The 20th congress of CPI reaffirms its support to the Palestinian people’s right to establish an independent and sovereign Palestine state on all the territories occupied by Israel,” the resolution stated.
