  • CPI-ML (Liberation) called for a state-wide bandh on November 24 to press for early implementation of D Bandhopadhyaya Commission recommendations on land reforms.

"We will be observing state-wide bandh on November 24 to press for implementation of land reforms measures in keeping with the recommendations of the Bandopadhyaya Commission," CPI-ML (Liberation) state secretary Nand Kishore Prasad said.

Alleging that the Nitish Kumar-led government is "anti-poor and inefficient", he said the party would resort to 'pad-yatra' between November 10 and 16.

"We have decided to come out with the details in form of a failure report card highlighting the misdeeds of the state government on November 24, the day it will complete its four years in office," the state secretary said.
