  • “There is a huge demand from their (Pakistani) side to supply goods through LoC route. These days a lot of onion is going. And (as a result of this), the quantum of trade through Wagah has come down drastically in past two-three months,” said Rajdeep Uppal, a prominent exporter of edibles to Pakistan. He said there is demand even for some banned products. “Recently we got a query about export of sandal wood from this route. We quickly dismissed it, but it shows the extent of the problem.”
