Crude oil futures up on global cues

Tracking a firm global trend,crude oil futures prices rose by Rs 29 to Rs 4,175 per barrel on Monday on fresh buying support by speculators. At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter,crude oil for February delivery rose by Rs 29,or 0.70 per cent,to Rs 4,175 per barrel,with a business turnover of 20 lots.

Similarly,the oil for delivery in January moved up by Rs 26,or 0.64 per cent,to Rs 4,113 per barrel,with a business volume of 138 lots.

Meanwhile,at New York’s main contract,crude for February delivery,rose 9 cents to USD 91.47 per barrel.
