Hollywood beauty Penelope Cruz and her Oscar-winning boyfriend Javier Bardem are reportedly planning to marry in December.

The Spanish actress who was recently at the centre of a pregnancy rumour, wants a Christmas wedding and has already started looking for a wedding dress, reported In Touch magazine online.

"They will marry very soon, maybe even over the holidays. Since she and Javier are from Spain, she'd love to have a Spanish designer create her dream gown," In Touch said.

It is believed the dress could be created by the the Spanish brand 'House of Balenciaga', which had earlier designed actress Salma Hayek's gown when she tied the knot with billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault.

Cruz had attended the nuptials with Bardem and fell in love with the dress.

"Salma's dress was specifically designed for her by the company's creative director, Nicolas Ghesquiere. I'm sure they would be more than thrilled to create a gown for Penelope, it will be the most important dress of her life," added the source.
