The Chandigarh Territorial Congress Committee in a meeting held today extended their support to a member of their party Anu Chatrath for the Senate elections. Chatrath, who is a former Mayor, is the daughter of G K Chatrath. Though the political parties claim not to directly support the candidates for the senate elections, both BJP and Congress are backing some candidates.
