    Talk-a-thon

Kalavishkar in association with NGMA is presenting a dialogue between painter Prabhakar Kolte and Contemporary new media artist Jitish Kallat on art and the different views on it. In a kind of friendly face-off, the two will be discussing the disparity and similarities between the old school and the new school of thought.

Kolte, having taught Kallat at the JJ School of Art, is an abstract artist who is seeking purity of form, while Kallat works in a figurative style, constantly dipping into pop-culture and media imagery. This live interview will be followed by an interactive tea-session with the audience.

At Auditorium, NGMA, 6 pm, April 7
