Excelsior, an event management group, organised a fashion show at the Majestic Park Plaza hotel on Wednesday evening as a curtain raiser to its upcoming ‘Wedding Asia 09’ exhibition scheduled to begin in the city on Friday. The exhibition will conclude on August 23.

To add to the grandeur of the exhibition, Excelsior team organised this fashion show as ‘Preview — Wedding Asia’ wherein the particiapants of ‘Wedding Asia’ showcased their creations. The show was choreographed by a well-known fashion choreographer, Vijay Roy.

Famous models from the metro cities walked the ramp showcasing the heavy bridal wear and jewellery

by the celebrity designers participating in the event.

Talking about his idea behind the show, the creator of the event, Maninder Singh Sethi said, “This is an attempt to provide a grand platform for highly reputed designers of fashion industry. All the models are flying from the metro cities to showcase the majestic creations of the designers. After this evening, we are confident that people will be desperately waiting for the exhibition to begin.”

He said those who participated in the exhibition included Satya Paul, Abdul Haldar, Monapali, Amadi by Khalid, Keyan’s, Roop Square, MB Jewellers and Sons, Shubh Gold, Gitanjali Jewels, Debeez, Dillano and Valini Jewellery Emporio.
