‘Cuticon - 08’ to kickstart today

  • Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) is holding the 34th annual conference of “Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists & Leprologists” (IADVL) (Punjab, Chandigarh and Himachal chapter) “CUTICON 2008” on October 11. The conference is being organised by the hospital’s Department of Skin and VD , under the guidance of Dr Alka Dogra, professor and head of the department.

    Prem Gupta, secretary, DMCH Managing Society, would be the chief guest. Eminent speakers of dermatology from all over India will address the conference. The founder of pulse therapy, Dr. J.S. Pasricha, former head of Department of Skin, AIIMS, New Delhi will speak on pulse therapy.

    Dr Satish Sawant, Head of Dermatology, Department at Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai will address about dermato surgery. While Dr Anil Ganjoo will share his views about laser. Dr Hema Jeranjani, Head of Department, LTM Medical College, Mumbai, would talk on rotational therapy in Psoriasis. Dr Atul Kochhar would discuss the latest on male pattern baldness.

    The theme of conference is “Evolving concepts in general and aesthetic dermatology”. Dr Daljit Singh, Principal of DMC&H, said that this conference would go a long way in devising new strategies for improvement of patient care.
